Benoît Jacques, born in Brussels in 1958, is a well known illustrator, author of comics and Belgian artist. Only guided by his fantasy and inspiration, he publishes and produces since 1989, rare and atypical books that combine several genres and techniques in a very singular way.
In 2012, he was awarded the Grand Prix Triennal de littérature de jeunesse de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles  in Belgium for his book « La nuit du visiteur ».
