ALLEGRARTE is the first online art gallery formed in the legal form of a non-profit association.
Allegrarte aims to support and bring greater visibility to artists, which is why each artist plays a central role within Allegrarte. Aware of the difficulty for artists to access the art market, we offer them our support to launch their careers in an ever-changing world.
Artists who lead solitary lives may encounter difficulties in building a network, a job that describes itself as difficult and laborious. As a result, they do not always have the opportunity to present and/or sell their work. This can be a real problem because no one can live solely on art and creativity. The return of the public and a financial income are crucial for artists. Without this, an artist cannot progress or continue to create.
That’s where ALLEGRARTE comes in. By providing artists with the means to create visibility for their work and interact with the public, ALLEGRARTE wants to help artists develop their careers and earn money. How?
First of all through the sale of works by talented artists on this site. Second, by reinvesting sales revenues in organizing events, meetings with artists, exhibitions and visits to artists’ workshops.
We are convinced that it is essential to organize activities and events at regular intervals to show our artworks to the public. That’s why we organized our first exhibition “Allegrarte Platform I” which took place from October 26 to December 3, 2017 in a prestigious mansion located on Avenue Louise, Brussels (BE).
