SHIPPING MODALITIES – ONLINE ART GALLERY

  1. Shipping modalities

Please note that an artwork is not a consumer good. There can be delays with printing, preparation and shipping times are variable depending on the kind of work you would like to acquire.

We will keep you informed every step of the way by email as explained below.

As soon as you place your order, you will get a first email confirming your order has been processed.

You will receive a second email as soon as your artwork is ready for the shipping, after the preparation time.

You will then receive a third and lastemail when the transport company has taken your shipment in charge.

This email will contain a tracking number, so you can monitor your shipment anytime directly on the transport company’s website.

Veuillez noter qu’une œuvre d’art peut exceptionnellement ne pas être disponible immédiatement en raison du fait que l’œuvre est exposée au moment de l’achat. In this case the time of shipment will be prolonged with the time of the exhibition (usually an exhibition takes from 4 till 8 weeks). If this is the case we will inform you immediately after your purchase by email of the expected delivery time.

2. Shipping Costs

The shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and appear in your shopping cart once the delivery location is indicated and validated. The costs are determined by the size and weight of the item you are purchasing, as well as the dispatch (usually the artist’s workshop) and delivery location. The costs can sometimes seem high: rest assured that we do everything we can to get the best value for money and in the most secure way possible. We work with the best transport companies available.

Customs Duty

Customs clearance must be applied to every item coming from a foreign country. Additional taxes and customs duty may be applied and you will have to pay them to the local authorities, in order to collect your parcel. Unfortunately, we can’t keep ourselves updated with each and every country’s customs policy evolution. The final order amount is therefore to be considered “excluding any customs fees” as you will see at the check out card. In order to know your country’s tax policy applied to imported artworks, we invite you to contact the customs authorities. Generally, the transport company takes charge of customs fees and taxes for you when the product is shipped and imported. In that case, you will have to pay an extra charge for customs duties at the receipt of your artwork directly to the transport company.
