Edition Bruno Robbe

Presentation

In 1995, Bruno Robbe took on the lithography workshop, founded by his grandfather Arthur Robbe in 1950, under the name Atelier Bruno Robbe. The workspaces have now been expanded and equipped with new technologies that complement the traditional printing presses. Éditions Bruno Robbe, created in 1999, combines traditional techniques such as lithography, linocut and intaglio printing, and modern techniques such as digital image processing (photolithography, etc.). The workshop specializes in the design of original prints by contemporary artists, in a kind of Laboratory of research and creation; where each work is conceived, drawn and realized in the same place. The production is focused mainly on the original print in limited edition, and around the artist’s book (book-object, portfolio, etc.).
