FIAC VS YOUNG TALENTS

FIAC

At the Paris FIAC, which take place until October 20th, the price of works can vary from 4000 euros to more than 4 million.

FIAC

The FIAC, the International Fair of Contemporary Art is the biggest meeting of autumn for contemporary art. 200 exhibitors present their latest finds, emerging artists and those whose rating is up or down. Art lovers are excited. Always looking for the rare piece to acquire. From there, the bank account makes the difference! The art market is still flourishing but dominated by large galleries to the detriment of small and medium-sized galleries.

Modern art, contemporary art or design: this meeting of the French, European and world artistic market, hosts from Thursday to Sunday 200 galleries from 27 countries, from America to China, Japan and Korea, including new goings. The event opens more than two weeks after the big sales at Sotheby’s in London which creates a special climate. Fiac remains one of the three annual fairs that count with Art Basel and the London FRIEZE. It has the reputation of being the most open, but remains inaccessible to many young European artists who deplore too much foreign and American presence.

This situation contributes to the existence of numerous editions of artists with growing success. President of Artprice and expert of the contemporary art market, Thierry Ehrmann invites “to loosen this elitist vice to open its door to young talents“. A breeding ground for young talents, artists’ editions are now a must for a number of collectors and professionals who spend a lot of time observing new trends.
