Marc Buchy (°1988, French, based in Brussels, BE) is a French artist living and working in Brussels since 2010. He develops a minimalist and conceptual practice exploring the margins between art and life.
After receiving his Master’s Degree in Fine Arts at the renowned LUCA school of arts in Brussels (BE) in 2012, Marc went on to complete the IHEAP Paris (FR) post-graduate program in New York City (US) in 2016.
Marc’s work has been included in group exhibitions in Belgium and abroad, such as the Morris Morgenstern Foundation (2013, Berlin, DE), “La Nuit de l’Instant” (2014, Marseille, FR), Regina Rex (2015, NYC, US), Keitelman Gallery (2015, Brussels, BE), Antena (2016, Chicago, US) and Radieuse (2016, Foundation Frédéric de Goldschmidt, Brussels, BE).
His most recent solo exhibition “Space Out” was held at the Moonens Foundation in Brussels (BE) in October 2016.
Marc Buchy’s coming projects for 2017 include among others: a solo show at the Edmund Felson Gallery (Berlin, DE) in April and his selection for the “Triennale de la Jeune Création” in Luxembourg in the summer.
