José Antonio Muñoz (°1942) is an Argentinian artist born in Buenos Aires. He attended Escuela Panamericana de Arte, where he studied with Alberto Breccia. In the 50s, his meeting with Hugo Pratt allowed him to work with Eugenio Zappietro and to realize Precinto 56.
Forced into exile in Europe in the early 70s, he continued to participate in various magazines and publish albums at Casterman and Futuropolis. His purpose is political and committed.
